Anthony Joshua’s friends’ funeral to hold in London Mosque on Sunday
The funeral service for late friends of a renowned world boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, who died in a ghastly auto crash along Lagos-Ibadan express on December 29,2025 during a visit to Nigeria, is scheduled to hold on Sunday January 4, 2026 in London.
Penpushing reports that boxing king media made this known in a statement, adding that service for the duo- Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele will begin at 10am at the London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.
The statement added that the Janaza (funeral) prayer service will allow family, friends, and the boxing community to pay their final respects, recalling that the bodies of the deceased were repatriated to the United Kingdom following the fatal crash in Nigeria.
Penpushing further reports that it would be recalled that Ghami and Ayodele tragically died in the crash when the Lexus SUV carrying them alongside Anthony Joshua collided with a stationary truck.
The boxer sustained injuries and was thereafter rushed to hospital in Lagos state, where he received a comprehensive medical attention and 48 hours after discharged from the hospital, having being confirmed medically fit
