Another building collapses in Lagos
A building located on Sonuga Street, Palm Avenue, in the Mushin area of Lagos State, has collapsed, while as at the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained if there was casualty
Penpushing reports that, when contacted the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor confirmed the incident, adding that the officials were on their way to the scene and would send the details later.
The number of floors of the collapsed building and if anyone was trapped under the debris, while this is coming barely few weeks after collapsed of a structure, and the authorities are yet to identify and arrest the developer and others.
Penpushing further reports that, the news of buildings collapsing has become a usual occurrence in Lagos State, while it is recalled that in November, at least 44 people died when a high-rise building crumbled.
Meanwhile, the record also has it that, eight bodies were recovered after a three-storey building which collapsed in Ebute-Metta in May
