Amotekun arrests 34-year-old man over alleged killing of wife
The Ogun State Amotekun Corps, a government established security outfit has arrested a 34-year-old man, Adebiyi Samuel over alleged murder of his 27-year-old wife Ogungbe Serah in Lekki phase 2 of Lagos
Penpushing reports that the Deputy Corp Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Aina Olukayode made this known in a statement on Thursday, adding that the suspect committed the alleged crime on 10th August,2023.
The statement explained that after commission of the alleged crime Adebiyi ran to Ijebu Igbo in Ogun State to hide from his criminal activity, adding that luck later ran against him and subsequently got arrested.
Penpushing further reports that the Deputy Corp Commander said the suspect was arrested during routine day to day patrol of the agency operative, adding that Adebiyi eventually confessed to committing the crime and will be handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
