Amosun will soon join african democratic congress, says party national leadership
The leadership of African Democratic Congress(ADC) has expressed optimism that former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun will soon officially join the party, having publicly endorsed the Governorship Candidate of the party, Biyi Otegbeye ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Penpushing reports that National Chairman of the party, Ralph Nwosu gave the optimism at a press conference held on Monday at the Ogun State Secretariat of the party located at Agbeloba house, Abeokuta the state capital.
The national chairman who said he was on a working visit to the state, said he was convinced about prophetic message of General Overseer of Jerusalem Ministry of God Worldwide, Prophet John Anifowose, a card carrying member of African Democratic Congress (ADC), that Amosun will soon leave All Progressives Congress (APC) and fully engaged with Action Democratic Congress (ADC) as elections draw nearer.
Penpushing further reports that, Nwosu expressed excitement over Amosun’s endorsement of the party governorship candidate said without mincing words, the former Governor is a political force to be reckoned with, adding that his status as a former presidential aspirant was added value to his political relevance in the country
The party boss used the opportunity to pronounced Hon Idowu Adeleye as the authentic Publicity Secretary of the party in Ogun State, contrary to insinuations that the party parades faceless spokesperson, boasting that African Democratic Congress (ADC) will win the Governorship race and other offices in next political dispensation
Penpushing also reports that, Nwosu in reaction to endorsement of Governor Dapo Abiodun of All Progressives Congress (APC) by traditional rulers ahead of the general elections, said its a clear testimony that the Governor is entertaining fear, stressing that if he(Abiodun) was sure of himself, he doesn’t need to be running helter skelter, to seek for endorsement
“If Governor is going to traditional rulers for endorsement, it is a clear indication of panic. If he is sure of himself, he does not need to be running helter skelter to seek traditional rulers endorsement”, he emphasized
