Alake of Egbaland affirms authenticity of news report of penpushing media
The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo has subscribed to the authenticity of news report of Penpushing media, adding that, no doubt, the organization is a source of authentic news globally, and charged the management to remain committed to the truth the establishment is known with.
Penpushing reports that, the first class monarch made the affirmation when the editorial board of the establishment paid him a courtesy call in his palace at Ake, Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.
The traditional ruler expressed delight that, Penpushing media has become a household name in the media industry, pointing out that, this is not far from its commitment to dissemination of authentic news across the globe.
Penpushing further reports that, Gbadebo encouraged the editorial board, in ensuring that, the organization remains a reference point, in breaking authentic news, a platform where readers will remain committed to
‘So let Penpushing be noted for nothing but the truth. Let truth be the reference point where we all go to, whenever we are in doubt on any news item, publications, and breaking news. Because breaking news can be used to deceive people. But when we here breaking news, we need to go and cross check at Penpushing’, he said
The royal father also commended the organization for the new innovation of introducing online television to its stable, adding that, that was a welcome development, which makes Penpushing ahead in the race of digital media.
Penpushing reports that, the traditional ruler pointed out that, one thing that has been missing in this mass communication /mass media is the absence of the truth, expressing joy that, Penpushing is out to address the menace to a standstill.
‘That there’s no other secret except telling the truth. Righteous, telling the truth, if you have as your watchword, you can never be messed up by anybody. They wake you up in the middle of the night, your statement will not change’, he said
Penpushing also reports that, the Chairman Editorial Board, Mrs Funke Fadugba earlier in his speech, said Penpushing berth was aimed to address the fake news menace, adding that, the board will remain committed to the course

‘It is truth that elevates people. We thank you for the support you’ve given in the past and we are still asking sir, that through your office we can continue to encourage journalists to uphold the truth and ensure that this country, the foundation of this country is fortified with the propagation of truth. Anything that is different from the truth we should be able to collectively condemn it and sanction people involved in it’, Fadugba emphasised.
‘On the platform sir, we uphold decorum. If you breached the sense of decorum in any form, you will be sanctioned. Infact, you will be removed. Because we believe that respect beget respect. The platform is a credible one’, she emphasised.
