Abeokuta south local government has recorded remarkable registration ahead of 2027 poll, says Ololade

The Senior Special Assistant on Health to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Dr Kehinde Ololade has boasted that Ward 4 Keesi, in Abeokuta South local government area of Ogun State has achieved a remarkable 70-80% registration rate ahead of next political dispensation.

Penpushing reports that Ololade who is from the ward stated this during a visit of the national youth leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Dayo Israel attributing the success to the support of the national youth leader of the ruling party and proactive mobilisation efforts.

The Special Assistant described the visit by Israel as a direct aimed at encouraging party registration and acknowledge the ward’s progress, stressing that the national youth leader is a worthy ambassador of the party.

“Today is a very special day to us because the national youth leader has counted us worthy to identify with us. The ward has been recognised as one of the foremost in Abeokuta South, providing directives to the movement.

Penpushing further reports that Ololade equally attributed the success recorded by Abeokuta South local government to the genuine efforts of party members, including market women, and others.

The Medical Doctor turned politician urged more young people to participate in the registration process, emphasising the importance of being part of the political process, adding that party leaders are going round to encourage members on importance of getting register to pave way for their political benefits.
