45 year old man arrested for allegedly defiling 14 year old biological daughter
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 45 year old man, a resident of Redeemed Church, Tinubi Estate, Ibesje in Ikorodu for allegedly defiling his 14 year old biological daughter.
Penpushing reports that, the Command Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi made this known in a statement on Monday, adding that the suspect, Kayode Adeyanju was arrested by the police operatives attached to Ipakodo Division, Ikorodu, on 7th June, 2021 at about 1pm,
The police spokesman said the sexually abused girl personally reported the case at Ipakodo Police Station, Ikorodu after her horrible ordeal in the hands of her father and the police operatives arrested the suspect.
Penpushing further reports that, the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the act and ordered that the case be transferred to the Gender Unit of the Command for further investigation.

Penpushing reports that Adejobi said the police operatives attached to Morogbo Division effected the arrest on Sunday, 13th June, 2021, at about 10am,and gave identities of the suspects as include Hameed Salami(35), Ogunlade Adewale(30), Sunday Ogbemudia(36), Okekunle Segun(26), Imole Kingsley(23), Rasak Lekan(26); and Osuya Innocent(23).
The Command Public Relations Officer disclosed that items recovered from them include one locally made pistol, two live cartridges, one axe, assorted charms, adding that the commissioner has ordered that the case be transferred to the Special Squad, Ikeja, for discreet investigation.
Penpushing further reports that, the police boss reiterated the command’s commitment to continually tackle cultism and all sorts of crimes and criminality in Lagos State as all hands are on deck to improve on the already established security architecture of the state.
