2023 Presidency: Labour party woos Osinbajo to contest under its platform

The Labour Party (LP) has woo Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and other interested aspirants for various elective post to use the platform in achieving their genuine aims in serving the country effective from 2023.

Penpushing reports that,  the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Arabambi Abayomi said this in a statement, adding that the two major parties All Progressives Congress(APC) and Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) have lost credibility

‘Prof Yemi Osibajo Presidency is best possible with Labour party as a platform since his current party of abode APC  is plague and ravage by series of leadership inconsistency, unresolved litigation ,full blown ineptitude , malfeasance, executive impunity, lawlessness policy somersault and rascality’, he said.

Penpushing further reports that, the statement explained that, Labour Party(LP) is now more than ever inspired to lead Nigeria into delivering good governance based on commitment and ideals that makes the party much more, a better and proper choice for 2023

‘ Labour Party is a party of social democrats , that operates on the express engine of equity and justice.  Labour Party’s strong point is that it has always functioned and operated with the objective of bringing into the Nigerian politics and democracy, with Nigerians’ massive electoral support, ideal governance based on identifiable ideology’, Arabambi emphasised.

‘Our reason is because this two – in – one APC / PDP political parties’ share the same set of bad characteristics that have consistently troubling the well – being of Nigerians , these include but not limited to ……. treasury looting , fuel scarcity , very explosive national insecurity , regular dislocation in the education , health , energy including environmental and sectors and very many more that we all as Nigerians silently with docility highly and regularly suffer from so often that they have now become part of our culture’.

‘These two- in – one APC /PDP parties have continually by their deliberate and arranged policies in government been rendering the people poorer as they , their political descendants and associates keep getting richer’ .

‘As the leaders of this APC/PDP two – in – one parties move personal monies in bullion vans across the town, they keep travelling all over the world for the smallest medical cares while the impoverished and socially limited less privileged citizens forcefully reduced to embracing every dangerous but available forms and means of care through completely unregulated local herbs which of course result in millions of avoidable death to the ordinary citizens’, Arabambi added.

Penpushing also reports that, the statement boasted that, Labour Party has untiringly affirms its commitment to the unity of  Nigeria, adding that the party is further inspired by the current urgent need to quickly and solidly reposition the role of the Nigerian State in the economic and social empowerment of all Nigerians as the desired and the only route to a new prosperous, peaceful and truly socially free Nigeria.

‘At this juncture, it’s expedient to state in clear terms that Prof Yemi Osibajo Presidency and other Progressive Governor’s, Senators, House of representatives and state house of assembly aspirant in 2023 can be better achieve in Labour party’

‘It is clearer now that Nigerians have come to know the evils the two – in – one APC / PDP political parties represent . In almost all the parameters for measuring good governance , the two – in – one APC/PDP political parties in their past wasted 24 years of incompetent rule’.

‘They have fallen far very short of every expectations and standards , what have remained scarce in public affairs under the Governments of the two- in – one APC/PDP parties are thriving socio – economic policies, citizens’ trust and confidence, open , transparent, honest responsible , caring and credible ones in Leadership , also lack of principles , commitment, focus and sincerity’.

‘Once again the National Chairman Bar Julius Abure, The National Working Committee NWC, The Board of Trustees BOT and the National Executive Council NEC of Lp hereby invite Prof Yemi Osibajo to come and contest under Labour party in 2023 as this is the best alternatives at present’, Arabambi stressed.

‘We in Labour Party seek and work for political power democratically for the purpose of enacting a capable Government that shall pursue social democratic programmes as a basis for a purely good governance’, he added.

The statement boasted that, Labour Party government will be committed to broadening and widening chances for participation at all levels of government ,adding that  the political and electoral process of the party is determined to ensure that the opportunities and cost of free and fair participation in the electoral process do not constitute hindrance to the young , brilliant , qualified and competent citizens of Nigeria and also ensure gender balance in all the areas of public affairs..

‘Now is the time for all Nigerians who love Nigeria and patriotic enough to be inclined to joining hands with Labour Party at finally changing the current insensitive, thieving , rascally and dishonest set of government leadership to join and work for the election of Labour Party in 2023’
