2023 Poll: Electoral Commission changes date for general election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday declared that the earlier February 18,2023 for the Presidential election is no more visible, adding that new dates have been fixed.

Penpushing reports that, chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu, made this development known to journalists,explaining that Presidential and National Assembly elections have been slated for February 25, 2023 while Governorship and State Assembly elections will now be held on March 11, 2023.
