2019 POLL: ELECTORAL COMMISSION COMMENCES TRAINING FOR CORPS MEMBERS

The training which comprises majorly corps members, will have them being deployed to various centres of polling station where they will serve as officials during the period of election on February 16 and March 2, 2019.

Penpushing further reports that, the training which is focused on the various activities to be done and how to engage in the election process also enlightens participants on ways to enter the election result sheets, different election forms and how to work during the election period.

The training also emphasized the need for the corp members to shun any act that may affect their lives, and to be apolitical and neutral in the discharge of their duties throughout the election period.

According to one of the trainees, David Fijabi, said that the training has given him a platform to know many things about election and it’s preparation in Nigeria, and he’s glad to be part of those who will eventually serve his father’s land.

“Of course, I am glad to be part of those who will serve my father’s land and it’s a good thing to know how election works in Nigeria, and various things to know concerning electioneering process. I am glad to be part of this training”
