12 American Soldiers, 48 others killed in Kabul bomb explosions

About sixty persons among them, twelve American soldiers have been reported killed in twin bomb explosions which on Thursday rocked the Kabul airport in Afghanistan

Penpushing reports that, the Kabul airport has been under the global spotlight since thousands of people rushed there last week in a bid to leave the country after the Taliban took over the government.

The United States of America (USA). Government, through a Pentagon official who spoke with journalists has  confirmed the deaths of its soldiers in the explosion adding that the attackers are believed to be linked to ISIL.

Penpushing further reports that, earlier the Taliban had condemned the attack, explaining that it occurred in an area of the airport manned by the United States of America (USA) soldiers.
