100 contingents to represent ogun state at national festival of arts, says commissioner
100 Ogun State contingents are set to participate in the 2022 edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST), scheduled to commence between Monday, November 7 to November 13 in Lagos State.
Penpushing reports that,Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo made this disclosure during a meeting with the State’s National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST),stakeholders, noting that the Ogun state was prepared to actively partake in the week-long annual festival, themed: “Culture and Peaceful Co-Existence”.
The commissioner disclosed that the state has 100 contingents that will participate in different competitions, to showcase the cultural endowments of the State and unite the nation through Arts and Culture
Penpushing further reports that, she appreciated Governor, Dapo Abiodun for his unrelenting efforts in promoting culture, boasting that the contingents would make the State proud, while appealing to them, to put in their best to maintain the status quo of being the best in previous Arts and Cultural festivals.
