Your Permanent Voter Cards ready for collection, electoral commission tells Ogun state prospective voters

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Ogun State has called on eligible voters to come for collection of their Permanent Voter Cards(PVC), following confirmation of the availability of the cards
Penpushing reports that the commission made this known in a statement, by Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity, Mrs Adenine Tadese,  explaining that the information was for
 eligible voters who registered during the first and second quarter of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise between June to December 2021 .
The statement added that, collections of the Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are available  at the commission’s local government offices from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm daily with effect from Monday 25th April, 2022.
Penpushing further reports that, the statement in the same vein,said the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise is on-going in all the twenty local government offices and designated centres of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)in the state.
The commission, however called on the eligible voters to take note that they are to come with their print out earlier issued during registration in exchange for the Permanent Voter Card (PVC),stressing that issuance is free while collection by proxy is not allowed.
