We are working towards peaceful release of Igboho, says Yoruba Council of Elders

The Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE) on Thursday said that they are working silently to secured the release of the self acclaimed Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo ,popularly called ‘Sunday Igboho’, as the council emphaised its support of the Yoruba nation project
Penpushing reports that, Secretary General of the Council Dr. Kunle Olajide made this known while speaking with journalists in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, just as he also cautioned Igboho to operate within the ambit of law
The scribe of the Yoruba Council of Eldrs(YCE) lamented that present situation of Nigeria does not gives any hope to the youth which makes the youth to be frustrated,stressing that the younger generation cannot be patient as the older generation does, adding that the body was not oppose to their reaction, but want them to exhibit moderation
Penpushing further reports that, it is recalled that Igboho was arrested by security operatives at an airport in Cotonou, Benin Republic alongside his wife, Ropo, while trying to take a flight to Germany.
The Department of State Services (DSS) in similar development, had on July 1 raided the residence of Igboho in Ibadan, Oyo State, killing two of his aides and arrested twelve others.
Penpushing also reports that the spy agency alleged that Igboho was stockpiling weapons, and subsequently declared him wanted,but Igboho had since denied the allegation.
