Wasiu Olatubosun leads African Democratic Congress appointees in Makinde’s government to formally join Peoples Democratic Party
The Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun on Tuesday led three of his colleagues and other appointees from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) serving in the cabinet of Governor Seyi Makinde to join the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Commissioner for Energy, Seun Ashamu, who is the third African Democratic Congress (ADC) commissioner in the cabinet, was, however, not at the press conference, but Olatunbosun disclosed that their defection followed consultations with African Democratic Congress(ADC) leaders in the State.
Penpushing further reports that, the commissioner pointed out that the Governor had fulfilled his promises to the African Democratic Congress(ADC) and members appointed into his cabinet, who he said were of the conviction to support the governor to win a second term.
The Information Commissioner explained that the defection would not affect African Democratic Congress (ADC) structures from the wards to the state levels in the State, adding that the party’s decision would be made known soon at the public declaration of the defection.
