I AM SET TO TRANSFORM OGUN IF ELECTED AS GOVERNOR IN 2019, SAYS PASEDA

His words, “With the confidence you have reposed on me with this mandate, I will not take you for granted, I will cherish it for the rest of my life, but more importantly, like I’ve always said, I will remain committed’.

”I will keep an inclusive government, I will be responsible, integrity will not run far from me and I will not do things that in any form would make you to begin to doubt my capacity or capability’, Paseda added.

“I call on party members and citizens to join me in my determination and focus on socio economic development of our people as our first priority to elevate our State in all facets of human endeavour through massive focus on development of cottage industries, human development which is the strong foundation of a continuous process of economic development for a long period of time, enlightenment and social amenities.”

Penpushing reports the Governorship hopeful called on members of opposition parties in the State who have been cheated to consider joining hands with him to take the state to the next level.

In his remark, the party Chairman, Femi Majekoduunmi said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State has failed to invest in human capacity building, but prefers building only bridges.

He spoke on emergence of Paseda who he said contested with two other aspirants in the party and polled a total of 11,467 votes through direct primary while the two other aspirants include, Opeyemi Agbaje and Sina Kawonise polled 6,070 and 2,014 votes respectively.

The party boss described the incumbent Governor as a coward who is afraid of the direct form of primaries in his party, adding that,”for the ruling party, they are only building bridges and not people and when the people are hungry, where do we go from there? And that is why you will see that the model schools that have been built by this administration are empty even when a large number of them are still uncompleted’.

“As a result, we are putting strategies in place and at the appointed time we would roll them out. Our candidates remain authentic and they are substantive and they emerged candidates because they are worthy to there but there is a gap where you can make substitution of candidates but we are not at that level yet.

“As far as I am concerned, the governor is just like any other person he has been the one that chose himself and where he wants to be and as well chose his loyal son. Isn’t he the one that is afraid? Why didn’t he go to town to slug it out with other aspirants?  Well I know that he will be shamed yes, I know that it will happen,” he added.
