United Nations, Media Awareness for All Information to train Nigerian journalists on Sustainable Development Goals reportage
The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in conjunction with Media Awareness and Information for All Network (MAIN) have concluded arrangements for training of Nigerian journalists to deepen their knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) reportage.
Penpushing reports that, Chairman of Media Awareness and Information for All Network (MAIN) , Prof Lai Oso made this known, adding that the training is scheduled to hold between Tuesday May 10 and 11, 2022 in Lagos State.
‘ In furtherance of our commitment to deepening Nigerian journalists knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),and promoting sustainability reporting ,the United Nations Information Centre UNIC ,Nigeria ,and Media Awareness and Information for All Network (MAIN) ,are organizing a training of journalists on SDGs and developing a Network Sustainability Reporters’, he explained
Penpsuhing further reports that, the workshop is designed to complete the six-geo-political zones of Nigeria, having earlier been held in Maiduguri, Abuja, Uyo and Enugu, and seeks to acquaint of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a view to generating compelling stories that will galvanise local and people’s action for sustainable development in Nigeria

Penpushing also reports that, the Chairman, a notable mascommunication and journalism lecturer disclosed that the training will take place at American Corner(former Concord Newspapers office, located at number 42 local airport, Ikeja Lagos state from 9am daily
