JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD FORMER STAFF ARRESTED OVER N10 MILLION FRAUD

The spokesman added, that the suspect who operates under the name of “Cool Technologies Consult Limited” with office located at number 4/900, Taiwo House, Second Floor, Yemetu Total Garden, Ibadan, Oyo State Capital requested the microfinance bank to advance him a loan of N10,000,000.00 to finance the Local Purchasing Order (LPO).

He said, the petitioner further alleged that suspect was granted the loan with the agreement that the proceed of the Local Purchasing Order ( LPO ) from Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will be paid directly into his account with the microfinance bank.

The commission stated that at maturity time for repayment, he allegedly disappeared and on verification of the Local Purchasing Order (LPO) in Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) headquarters, Abuja, it was discovered that the Local Purchasing Order (LPO) provided by the suspect was forged and that he was no longer a staff of the organization.

Penpushing also reports that, Orilade said, additional investigation revealed that the suspect has been involved in several other fraudulent deals under the same guise of being a Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) official, adding that he will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
