Truck crushes woman to death on Lagos-Abeokuta expressway
Accident involving a truck with registration number XA 354 WDP at Dalemo area on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway on Thursday at about 11.00pm in Ota town of Ogun State has killed a woman, when the truck crushed her
Penpushing reports that the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command, Anthony Uga made this known adding that that the driver of the truck lost control due to excessive speeding and hit female adult standing beside the road.
The sector commander said disclosed as at the time of filing this report that the corpse of the victim had been deposited at General Hospital, Ifo in Ifo local government area of the state, and commiserated with the family of the deceased
Penpushing further reports that Uga implored drivers against restless driving and always conduct a routine check on their vehicles to ensure that the brake system were functional before putting them on the road.
