Truck crushes traditional ruler inside” Keke Napep”
A traditional ruler of Onibuku in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State,Oba Abraham Bankole has been reported killed on Tuesday when a truck crushed the tricycle in which he was commuting.
Penpushing reports that the accident occurred on the Ota-Idiroko expressway, close to Winners Chapel in Ota town, when truck with registration number EPE 252 XF hit the tricycle while the royal father was alighting and the driver of the tricycle and another passenger were said to have escaped unhurt.
The Ogun State Police Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Public Relations Officer Florence Okpe, said she was informed about the sad incident, adding that as at the time of filing this report she was yet to be fully briefed by the in Ota Unit of the command.
Penpushing further reports that a traditional ruler in Ogun West senatorial district, who preferred anonymity equally confirmed the incident, and expressed shock over the third-class traditional ruler commuting in a tricycle.
Meanwhile, the source, however, disclosed that as at the time of filing this report the remains of deceased traditional ruler have been deposited at the morgue of General Hospital, Ota.
