TRIBUNAL JUDGMENT: MAN WITH EFFIGY DEFILES RAIN TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR ABIODUN
It is recalled that, the Allied Peoples Movement(APM) and its Governorship Candidate, Hon Adekunle Akinlade had dragged the All Progressives Congress(APC) and its Candidate to Tribunal, following petition written to challenge Abiodun’s electoral victory at the March 19 poll.
Penpushing further reports that as the rain fall lasted for about an hour, the man stayed and was heavily soaked alongside his caricature baby, explaining that he was doing that to openly express his support for the party and the Governor.
The court venue was also filled with retinue of members of the Articulated Motorcycle and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) and Amalgamated Commercial and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), as early as 7am.
Penpushing also reports that, security agencies which included Nigerian Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Department of State Security (DSS), and Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS were on ground to keep eagle eye on all happenings.
The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama and the Civil Defence Commandant, Ahmed Abodunrin were not left out in security of the court and the vicinity, as they were seen jointly moving round to ensure security compliance at the venue.
