Toba Opaleye”s widow dies

The wife of Toba Opaleye, a late ace broadcaster has died on Sunday following a cancer related ailment said to have being nursing for sometime, before death took her away.

Penpushing reports that, Biola Toba-Opaleye, a teacher with St Peters College, Olomore in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital breathed her last at the Federal Medical Centre, (FMC)Idi- Abeokuta when all efforts for survival failed.

The husband, a renowned radio broadcaster, who had a brief in-road to politics ,and attempted to contest the chairmanship position in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, it is recalled died over a decade ago, while his works in the media industry still remain reference point

Penpushing further reports that, the deceased who was 45 was survived by a mother, two children, Wonu and Tinu Toba-Opaleye, and would be buried on Tuesday according to Christian rites in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.

The colleagues of the late teacher lamented over the death expressing shock over what they described as a sudden departure of the woman they  described as efficient and cool headed, who will be missed greatly and prayed for her gentle soul to rest in peace
