Former President, National Association of Women Journalists tells Nigerians to see 2026 as year of reflection
The former President of National Association of Women Journalists (NAWJO) Fatimah Ajibola Kareem-Adigun has called on Nigerians to see the new year as a gift opportunity to reflect on how far they have come together as a nation.
Penpushing reports that she made the call in her new year message and extended heartfelt greetings and well wishes to every Nigerian, young and old; all over the world, recalling that 2025 was an amalgam of events cum bitter-sweet episodes for Nigeria
‘As we bid farewell to the past year and welcome the new one, I want to extend my heartfelt greetings and well wishes to every Nigerian, young and old; all over the world’, Abul-Kareem stated.
‘The year 2025 was an amalgam of events cum bitter-sweet episodes for Nigeria – with a couple of wins here and there, and a number of losses in tow. Nevertheless, that the country remains relatively habitable, peaceful and united, in spite of it all; is something to be grateful for’, she added.
