Tinubu appoints Ribadu as special adviser on security

The Nigeria’s President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has appointed a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu as his special adviser on security, an appointment said to take immediate effect

Penpushing reports that Ribadu appointment was contained in a statement on Thursday by Director Information, State House, Abuja, Abiodun Oladunjoye, which also disclosed a list of eight special advisers

The Director Information in the statement added that Tinubu also appointed his close ally and former media aide, Dele Alake, as his special adviser special duties, communications and strategy, as well as Wale Edun, a former Lagos commissioner, as special adviser on monetary policies.

‘President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the following as Special Advisers: Mr. Dele Alake; Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Mr. Yau Darazo; Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs, Mr. Wale Edun; Special Adviser, Monetary Policies, Mrs. Olu Verheijen; Special Adviser, Energy, Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji; Special Adviser, Revenue,  Mr. Nuhu Ribadu; Special Adviser, Security, Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu; Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment.’, the statement reads
