Three injured in Lagos state train crash

A railway crash occurred on Monday at Arenal Plaza, Oshodi area of Lagos State, with three persons sustaining various degrees of injuries.

Penpushing reports that,the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi made this known in a statement, adding that the accident involved a moving train and two vehicles crossing the rail track.

The police spokesman said the affected vehicles include Toyota Highlander with registration number FST 723 FL and Ford  with registration number Lagos GGE 972 GE, adding affected persons have been taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment as at the time of filing this report.

Penpushing further reports that, Adejobi disclosed that  the accidented vehicles were  removed from the track for ease of passage of other trains ,while the matter already referred to the Railway Police Command for further investigation and necessary action.
