Terrorists storm hospital in Kaduna state, kill one, kidnap 12 others
Terrorists have attacked a maternity hospital, Kujama, the headquarters of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing at least one and kidnapping 12 people including a nine-month-old pregnant woman.
Penpushing reports that a resident identified Masud Gora on a Facebook said the attack happened in the early hours of Tuesday, adding that among those kidnapped was a nursing mother and her baby.
The resident stated that the assailants attacked Nasara Nursing and Maternity Home, where they kidnapped a health practitioner identified as Ibrahim and five other patients, including the hospital guard.
Penpushing further reports that Gora added that the bandits in same vein invaded other houses, kidnapping families, affirming that the terrorists abducted one Alhaji Abdulkadir, his two wives and daughter.
“They also kidnapped Alhassan Tipa and his wife. Gunmen attacked the town of Kujama in Chikun local government where they took away people including a pregnant woman who was about to give birth and killed a young man,” he wrote.
Penpushing also reports that as at the time of filing this report that Kaduna State Police Command have not confirmed the attack, while command’s spokesperson, Mansir Hassan, did not respond to an inquiry put across to him.
