
Terrorists kidnap 4 pregnant women, 16 others in Niger state
Bandits have abducted 20 people, including four pregnant women and minors, from Palaita, Anguwan Kawo community, near a military base in Erena, Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
Penpushing reports that sources from Erena said the terrorists attacked the village on Wednesday at about 10 a.m., adding that as at the time of filing this report, names of three people spoken with are been withheld for security reasons
‘We spoke to three people in Erena and their names have been withheld for security reasons. We heard gunshots from the area but we were thinking that it was the military. The terrorists operated for nearly 50 minutes and the soldiers did not challenge them’, the source stated

Penpushing further reports that spokesperson for Nigerian Army, Appolonia Anele, as well as Niger State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun have not issue any official statement on the development
Meanwhile, the village is near Erena, where the military has a Foward Operating Base (FOB) to prevent such attacks on the garrison town and nearby villages.
