Taraba state government renames government house after T.Y. Danjuma

The Taraba State Government has renamed and remodelled the government house as T.Y. Danjuma House, a decision said to appreciate Danjuma, an elder stateman for his uncommon contributions to the development of the state.

Penpushing reports that the Deputy Governor and Chairman of the organising committee, Aminu Alkali, who unveiled this development said the state government found Danjuma’s significant contributions to nation-building and vital role in the development of Taraba state worthy enough to rename the facility after him as a form of appreciation.

‘The decision to rename Taraba Government House as T.Y. Danjuma House is to recognise his contributions to nation-building and the developmental strides. This will serve as a form of appreciation for what the elder statesman has done for the development of the state’, he said.

Penpushing further reports that Danjuma, in response at the ceremony commended the governor for the decision, stating that the honour was a morale booster that would motivate him to attract more development to the state.

Meanwhile, the elder stateman appealed for a united Taraba state, irrespective of political, tribal, and religious affiliations, to allow the administration of Governor Agbo Kefa to thrive with resounding record and success.
