SULTAN URGES MUSLIM TO SHUN VIOLENCE
The Sultan said,” Islam has thought us a social born of faith, and knowing one another is what has bring us together as a brotherhood, don’t fight anybody because of religion, don’t use foul language against each other’.
He added that violence and aggression is not the right way of living but patient and peace is the best way to achieve development in any nation.
“Muslim can build a strong community of this nation if only they can shun violence and continue to live in peace and harmony’.
The Sultan in similar manner urged Nigerians leaders to have the love of their citizens in mind noting that violence and corruption will be drastically reduced if the love for their followers is always their priority.
Earlier in his remark, the Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi said all religious leaders, religious scholars and religious preachers should continue to use their position in the society to spread the peaceful co-existence in the country
“As 2019 general election is approaching, we want you to assist us to continue in preaching to our people that it is when the atmosphere is peaceful that development can thrive. There is nothing more than Godliness and Godliness is a service to humanity’
