So-Safe Corps apprehend alleged two suspected notorious motorbikes snatchers
The Ogun State Community Social Orientation and Safety Corps code-named So-Safe Corps, an arm of the Ogun State Government has arrested two suspected notorious motorbikes’ snatchers identified as Okoro Ogudu popularly called ‘Chi Boy'(25) and Okechukwu Eze.
Penpushing reports that the Director of Information and Public Relations of the agency Moruf Yusuf in a statement said that at about 1100hrs on 30th June, 2023 one Lawal Kazeem reported his missing motorbike marked JBD 933 VZ stolen from his farmland in Abapawa Community in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of the State.
The statement said following intensive investigation by the operatives of the agency swooped into action which subsequently led to the arrest of the suspects, adding that in the course of interrogation the victim was able to recognize the suspects.
Penpushing further reports that Yusuf said exhibits found with the alleged snatchers include: 2 litres of PMS(Petrol), 2 cutlasses, motorbikes tools of various kinds, 1 Motorbike key, 1 baby cloth and 6 clothes for adults.
The agency spokesperson said as at the time of filing this report the suspects and the exhibits found with them had been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Omu Police Divisional Headquarter for further investigation and likely prosecution.
