Sikirulai Ogundele to be installed high chief of owu kingdom

The process of installation of the Ogun State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Dr Sikirulai Ogundele as  Obalumore of Owu Kingdom in Abeokuta will kick start on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 with  official commissioning of renovated Igosun Health Centre.

Penpushing reports that  the commission of the project will  be done by Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Matemilola  by time 11 am, while  the new chief(Ogundele) will on Wednesday the following day embark on solitary rites in Ipebi at Oke Ago Owu in the ancient town from 4.00pm.

The grandfinale of the ceremony is scheduled to hold  on Thursday, February 22, 2025 at Olowu Palace, located at Oke Ago Owu where the traditional ruler of the kingdom will oversee the epoch making activities scheduled to hold from 10.00am.

Penpushing further reports that as at the time of filing this report Ogundele’s family has issue out invite to guests and well wishers to be part of the ceremony, regarded as a traditional feat for the renowned politician and bussiness man
