Seven Peoples Democratic Party National Working Committee members resign
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost seven of its National Working Committee (NWC) who separately tendered their letters of resignation from the party, all of them were said to be occupying Deputy positions before they left
Penpushing reports that, the officials whose identities could not be ascertain as at the time of filing this report tendered their letters of registration on Monday to the National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus.
The National Publicity of the opposition party Kola Ologbondiyan could not be reach for comments or reactions over the sudden development, but the party’s National Organising Secretary, Austin Akobundu, on Tuesday was said to have confirmed the incident.
Penpushing further reports that, the current members of the National Working Committee(NWC) of the party led by Uche Secondus were elected for a four-year tenure in 2017 and they would leave office in December this year.
