SELFISH BUHARI SHOCKS OGUN ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS, ASKS SUPPORTERS TO VOTE FOR HIM, VOTE FOR GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE OF PARTY OF THEIR CHOICE

It is recalled that, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun had been at loggerhead with the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, following his failure to secure governorship ticket for Adekunle Akinlade, his preferred candidate, and also vowed to work against the interest of APC, his own party.

Penpushing further reports that,the aggrieved supporters of Amosun, with his consent moved to Allied Peoples Movement, APM, and they all participated in the Buhari’s rally, having before now adopted him, as the APM Presidential Candidate for the Saturday poll.

However, the President and Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress, (APC), Buhari while addressing the crowd before he later presented the party Governorship Candidate in the State, Prince  Dapo Abiodun  told  the gatherings that after the Presidential election, which he sought their votes, they can vote for any candidate of their choice at the Governorship election

 “On Saturday, February 16, you are to vote for Presidential candidate of the APC. But I want to urge you to choose whoever you like across the parties as governor of Ogun State. There is no problem about it. I have no problem about it. The rest people of Ogun State will decide”, Buhari declared

The host Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, earlier in  his speech canvassed votes for Governorship Candidate of Allied Peoples Movement, (APM), Adekunle Akinlade, boasting that, “we have told them that they (APC Governorship Candidate), that they are not up to 5 percent.

Penpushing also reports that, Amosun in his remark ignored the need to recognize the All Progressives Congress(APC) Governorship candidate, Dapo Abiodun; National Chairman of the party,  Adams Oshiomhole; former  Ogun State Governor, Chief Segun Osoba and  Rauf Aregbesola;  former Osun State Governor.
