Similarly, in his own remark, Director, News and Current Affairs, Tokunbo Oloruntola noted that Penpushing has become a house hold name in the media industry across the globe, because of professionalism it is known with.
He called on the management not to rest on its oars, in maintaining the qualities of news published, adding further that, the organization should also avoid temptation of derailing from the ethics of the profession, as well as to be cautious of not being bias in their reportage.
Oloruntola, also promised that the radio station would play active and major role in the forthcoming second edition of Penpushing anniversary, scheduled to hold in July
Earlier in her speech, Chairman Editorial Board of Penpushing, Funke Fadugba, said the emergence of the online newspapers was to add credibility to the media industry, stressing that the organization will not compromise its integrity.
Fadugba also commended the management of the radio station for being up and doing in regards the welfare of its workforce, and also assured Penpushing solid cooperation with the station, in joint efforts to revive journalism from collapse
Meanwhile, other management staff of the radio station at the meeting include; Shirley Aghemerio Osikhenam(Head of Programmes) and Busola Atinsola(Confidential Secretary)
