REMO CHAMBER DRIVES WILL BOOST OGUN ECONOMY – ADEBUTU
The President lauded the progressive achievements of the Chamber, and called on members to embrace the ongoing registration to benefit from the empowerment programmes of the Chamber.
Penpushing further reports that, Adebutu revealed that the Chamber has issued letters of recommendations for members traveling abroad for business and attending to trade enquiries by prospective investors from abroad, adding that these achievements are in line with the predetermined goals of the chamber.
“To promote and protect the business community in Remoland, RECCIMA is the central organization in Remoland for collecting, distilling and distributing information of business nature, especially regulations, tariffs openings for trades, opportunities for business transactions, possible sources of funding, and other matters affecting the local and international markets’.
“The establishment was meant to be an official body through which the opinion of the business community in Remoland on commercial and industrial matters can be presented through national body- NACCIMA, which is direct to government or other authorities; foreign, national or local.”
Penpushing also reports that, Adebutu therefore urged individuals, groups and associations, private business and affiliates to seize the opportunity by becoming part of the Chamber.
The Guest lecturer, Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye speaking on the theme’ “Chamber of Commerce: Enhancing Business Growth In A Challenging Economy”, said, the primary aim of the chamber is to protect and promote commerce of industry, mines and agriculture as well as representing business community in matters affecting trade and industry.
The 1st Deputy President, Ogun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUCIMMA) Olaleye who was represented by the Executive Secretary, of the Chambers, Alhaji. Abdulrahmon Maku explained that, the Chamber comprises of individuals and firms from diverse backgrounds has over the years, the utilized and expanded the social capital.
The Deputy President explained that, the benefits of being members of the chamber include; enhancing efficiency in operations, identifying potential markets, and increased sales and profits in the future.
