PublicFaces Magazine organizes strategic fireside meeting on business exhibition realities to celebrate International Women’s Day

The PublicFaces Magazine has designed a high-level fireside discussion in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, scheduled to hold on Sunday, March 8, 2026 in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

Penpushing reports that the Publisher of the media outlet, Bola Solate made this known in a press statement, adding that the theme of the celebration is “Pain and Gain: Navigating the pain and Prospects of Ogun Business Exhibition’

The journalist and a season event planner known as M19 Events Consult explained that the ceremony will take place at Choplife Villa, Onikolobo , Abeokuta between 3pm-6pm, adding that it will bring together business exhibition pioneers.

Penpushing further reports that she added that other participants include seasoned exhibitors, and women entrepreneurs, for an honest and solution-driven conversation on the realities of participating in business exhibitions.

‘While exhibitions are often perceived as glamorous platforms for visibility and growth, many women entrepreneurs face significant financial risks, logistical challenges, and uncertain returns on investment. This Fireside Meeting aims to unpack these realities: exploring both the struggles and the success stories behind the booths’, Solate stated.

Penpushing also reports that the convener explained that the goal of the gathering is to move beyond surface level narratives and foster practical dialogue around sustainability, profitability, strategic participation, and collaborative growth for women-led enterprises in Ogun State.

‘This platform was created to ensure that women do not just show up , but scale up. We are transforming shared experiences into strategic insight. The discussion will feature respected voices within the business exhibition ecosystem, providing participants with reallife lessons, actionable strategies, and policy-oriented recommendations that can strengthen women’s economic participation in the state’, she stated.

‘The Fireside Meeting is open to business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, corporate stakeholders, financial institutions, policymakers, and members of the public who are passionate about advancing women-led enterprises with the Ogun state’, Solate said.
