Man sets ablaze for allegedly charming a boy in Jigawa state

A man identified as Isah Umara of Baturiya Village in Kirikasamma Local Government Area of Jigawa state has been allegedly set ablaze after being alleged of bewitching a boy in the same village.

Penpushing reports that the Jigawa State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abdu Jinjiri confirmed the incident explaining that the command as at the time of filing this reports, the corpse had been deposited at the hospital

“On 23rd May, 2020, the police in Kirikasamma Local Government Area received a call that one Amadu, alias Officer of Baturiya village ganged up with his friends and attacked one Isah Umara of the same village, accusing him of bewitching his son.”

“On receiving the call, the police rushed to the scene to rescue the man under attack. On arrival, we found that the victim was burnt to ashes in a shop where he was hiding from the attackers, and the attackers took to their heels.”

Meanwhile, as at the time of this report sources disclosed that three of the suspects had been apprehended and the case is under investigation.
