
Pressure group, United Premier Movement inaugurates interim working committee in Ogun state
The United Premier Movement (UPM), a pressure group has formally inaugurated its Interim Working Committee in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, a strategic leadership team mandated to guide the affairs of the Movement.
Penpushing reports that Publicity Secretary of the movement, Hon. Yusuf Ayodele made this known in a statement explaining that the movement will advance mission of building a united, purposeful, and people-driven political force.
The statement said the committee is tasked with providing clear leadership direction, strengthening organisational structures, driving grassroots mobilisation, and deepening citizen engagement across all communities.

Penpushing further reports that the Convener and National Chairman of the movement, Hon. (Chief) Olalekan Shoyinka speaking at the inauguration stated that the movement is focusing on a united voice for the people.
The National Chairman popularly called Ayinla Egba emphasized that the inauguration is not just an administrative exercise, but a clear statement of the movement readiness to champion political accountability, merit-based leadership among others

Penpushing also reports that the committee is made up of seasoned grassroots mobilisers, administrators, strategists, and media professionals, drawn from key directorates which include Hon. (Chief) Olalekan Shoyinka (Convener), Comrade Emmanuel Oke (General Secretary) and Hon. Yusuf Ayodele (Publicity Secretary / Media Director)
The others are Mrs. Kikelomo Ogunsina-Obabi (Treasurer), Comrade Aderibigbe Alaran – (Financial Secretary), Alhaja Aminat Adenike Hussein (Director, Welfare and Community Support) and Hon. Quamdeen Ayinla Akinyele (Organising Secretary)
Penpushing reports that the list contained Hon. Kolawole Shamsideen Alimi (Director, Mobilisation and Grassroots Engagement), Mrs. Arike Omotanbaje (Director, Women Affairs), Hon. Kamil Sokunle (Director, Youth Affairs) and Elder Dele Ayodo (Director, Strategy and Policy Research)
The others include Comrade Sheriff Adenekan (Director, Electoral Matters), Comrade Idowu Ajibodu (Director, Political Intelligence and Security) and Hon. Oluwasegun Emmanuel Adeniran (Director, Special Duties)

Penpushing further reports that the ward coordinators which covers Abeokuta South local government are Mr. Sakiru Adeniran (Ward 1), Hon. Kamil Sokunle(Ward 2), Mr. Adebayo Olaosebikan(Ward 3), Comrade Aderibigbe Alaran(Ward 4) and Mr. Olusegun Ayinde (Ward 5)
The others are Hon. Bazeet Olatunji (Ward 6), Hon. Kolawole Shamsideen Alimi (Ward 7), Hon. Quamdeen Akinyele (Ward 8), Hon. Oluniyi Lasisi (Ward 12) and Hon. Kayode Sobowale(Ward 15)
Penpushing also reports that the movement, however, urged all members, supporters, and well-meaning citizens to rally behind this leadership team as they prepare for the political journey ahead, stressing that together, they can shape a future anchored on One Voice, One Cause, One Future.
