Premier Grammar School old students payback to alma mater
The old students of Premier Grammar School Abeokuta(1976/81 set) will on July 31, 2021 rolled out drums to celebrate the existence of the college, with number of projects to be commissioned as payback time for the institution.
Penpushing reports that, the programme is designed by the students, who graduated from the college forty years ago ,while number of personalities within and outside Nigeria have been invited to celebrate with the college and the old students.
The Chairman of the association, Dr Seyi Soremekun in a statement said the Iyalode of Yorubaland, Iyalode Alaba Lawson, a frontline educationists is the Mother of the Day, who will be joined by other notable personalities to grace the occasion.
Penpushing further reports that, Soremekun who is the National Information Officer of United Nations Information Centre(UNIC) disclosed that, the programmed is scheduled to start by 11 am
The Chairman added that part of the programme designed for the day at the school located in Lafenwa, along Ayetoro road, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital is commissioning of a completed and equipped Home Economic Laboratory among others
Penpushing reports that, Soremekun said listed number of Special Guests of Honour will at the ceremony presented goodwill remarks, adding that, the programme is also designed in support of Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education
