Popular Ogun state broadcaster, Omo-Baba-Tisa, bags Doctorate Degree
An Ogun state based popular radio broadcaster Adeyinka Adegbite, popularly called ‘Omo Baba Tisa’ has bagged a Doctorate Degree from Real Life Seminary, Biblical and Theological Institute located in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital
Penpushing reports that, Adegbite after being conferred the honorary doctorate degrees at the Special Convocation ceremony alongside others, held at the Real Life in Christ Pentecostal Church International, Ifokanbale Community, Labaiwa, Oke -Aregba, Abeokuta, affirmed that the institute has further broaden his knowledge and also exposed him to many things he does not know in the Christian world.
“When the school sent invitation to me, I almost turned it down I was like is it the right time for it, but the school said that the efforts and impact have put into the seminary that I should come and receive it that it is an honor I deserve, that I must come and receive it’, he stated.
“It is a life experience, the program made me to understand that whatever you do, people are watching you, that we should becareful of what we are doing, it is either bad or good the reward is coming’, Adegbite added.
Penpushing further reports that, the graduand, who is a member of Penpushing platform described the Rector of the institute as a man of integrity, who does not believe in acquiring wealth, a humble and transparent man and full of contentment
”The rector is an humble person, he is not money driven person, he is a man of God. He is transparent, I have known him for almost a decade now, He is a type of person that believes he worked to get money or to lie to say what God has not sent him, since I have met him he has been maintaining the pedigree. He sold his car to push God’s project, not ordinary car but jeep for that matter, that some pastors are dying to get’, Adegbite noted.
“The certificate has not changed me, I will continue to do what I believe so much, I believe so much in myself and my calling, I am an educationist to the core, because I have realized that the reason why I have come into this world is to solve people’s problem. This doctorate has empowered me to do more, I will not relent, I want to die empty, by the time I die people will realize that I have given out what I have in me’, he emphasised
Penpushing also reports that,the Rector of the Institute, Pastor(Dr). Wale Olabode while speaking with journalists noted that God put the initiative in his mind to be able to train the graduands.
The clergyman described the initiative as divine and advised the graduands to embark on propagating the work of God to the world and win more souls for their creator, and let the world know that the Lord is good.
”We have the graduands in term of the certificates, diploma, bachelors and masters. We have about thirteen and in term of doctorate degrees we have 12. It is divine initiative, it is God that put it in my mind, he revealed to me and spoke to me”, Olabode said
“The graduands have learnt a lot because it is all about Biblical and leadership training, they have learnt a lot that can help their Christian lives in future. My advice to them according to the motto of the school , “Go Ye Into the world. They should go Into the world to preach the gospel to the world and also preach the word of God, the impact of their word should change the world’, he emphaised’
