Pomegranate Nigeria Limited organizes retreat for staff, hosts Nollywood actor Odunlade

The management of Pomegranate Nigeria Limited (PNL), a foremost transport and logistics company in Nigeria, has organized a retreat for its staff, as part of preparations to launch formidable business in 2026.

Penpushing reports that the retreat held at South Kitchen located within the premises of Providence Event Centre, Abeokuta, had in attendance popular Nollywood Actor Odunlade Adekola as a special guest to motivate the staff for greater heights

Th team had earlier visited the Wildlife Park and boat cruise at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), as well as Olumo rock, Abeokuta basically to help foster a good team bonding experience among the staffers.

Penpushing further reports that Odunlade at the retreat presented a Leadership Award to Mrs Dorathy Okunoye, who emerged as the outstanding leader in recognition of her excellence in people leadership, team development, and operational execution

The Nollywood actor equally engaged the team in memorable session marked by warmth, inspiration, and positive energy, as well as encouraged the team to remain diligent and principled.

Penpushing also reports that Odunlade  emphasised the importance of hard work and earning an honest living as the foundation for sustainable progress and positive impact.

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pomegranate Nigeria Limited, Wole Elusakin, speaking at the event emphasised the company’s people-first philosophy, explaining that the post-budget retreat, was designed to strengthen collaboration, reinforce shared values, and energise the team ahead of the company’s ambitious growth targets

Penpushing reports that  Elusakin accompanied by his wife at the occasion disclosed that the firm will soon be launching PNLHub, Africa’s first cargo-hailing ride platform, adding that the  app is already available for download on Android (Play Store) and iOS, with web access via www.pnlhub.org.

The Chief Executive Officer stated that discussions are ongoing regarding a potential collaboration between Odunlade and the company with PNLHub at the centre of a forthcoming app launch campaign.

The company boss speaking on invitation extended to Odunlade, he stated that he is a successful actor and the establishment believe it  can draw from his goodwill and then get some inspiration from him to be able to push into the new year.

‘We believe that with the help of God we should be able to achieve the target set for the year. Our team for the year is impossible is nothing. Whatever target we have set we believe we can achieve it as a team and the reason for setting the team for the year. The team again is impossible is nothing and I’m happy the entire team have imbibed the team’, he added.
