Police seek public assistance to reunite abducted boy with family

The Anambra State Police Command has urged the public, especially residents of Onitsha and Ihiala, to assist with the efforts to locate the parents of a 15-year-old boy, Chibuike Onyebuchi, who was allegedly abducted in Onitsha and found recently in Kogi State.

Penpushing reports that the Command Public Relations Officer Tochukwu Ikenga made this known on Thursday while addressing journalists, adding that the boy hails from Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The police spokesperson, a superintendent of police, said Chibuike was in the safe custody of the police in Kogi State, explaining that during interrogation the victim disclosed to police operatives that he was abducted in Onitsha and taken to an unknown location before his escape.
