POLICE INVITES SARAKI FOR INTERROGATION

Penpushing reports that, the announcement and invitation of Saraki came three weeks after the police transferred some criminal suspects on an unrelated matter to Abuja. It is also recalled that Saraki raised alarm at the time, saying the police were plotting to implicate him.

But the police in response to Saraki’s alarm however, denied the allegations, warning the top lawmaker to desist from jeopardising an ongoing criminal investigation.
