POLICE COMMISSIONER CELEBRATES CHILDREN’S DAY WITH IDPs IN BENUE

The statement added further that, the command was received by the representative of the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Authority, Mr Emmanul Shior. The team also shared gift items worth millions of Naira to show love and sense of belonging to the IDPs as part of Police community relations and social responsibilities.

Penpushing reports that, the gift items donated and shared by the Benue Police Command include 2,000 books, 1,000 T-Shirts, 1,000 slippers), 1,00 packs of pencils and erazers .

Owoseni, who spoke on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, felicitated with the IDPs and assured them of police support and adequate security at all times, adding that the Police will not in anyway toy with the absolute security of lives and property of the Benue people.
