Penpushing further reports that Ogunlowo at the event, immediately tasked the Area Commander of Zone 2 of Police, with headquarters, which is a stone throw to the press centre to take up the concern raised with immediate effect

‘We will not stop acting effectively. I assure you that we will enforce the law and taken them to court. However, police is to enforce law not to adjudicate. We would continue to arrest’, Ogunlowo emphasized

The Acting Chairman of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Comrade Aderoju Ogundiran earlier in his welcome address at the event organized by the association tagged, “Time Out with Broadcasters,” said the gathering was a rare and crucial opportunity for media professionals to galvanize stakeholders to discuss the internal security of Ogun State with the commissioner.

Penpushing reports that Ogundiran thanked the police boss for making himself available for the very important engagement, stressing that this speaks volume about his commitment to security of lives and property in Ogun State.

‘To all stakeholders who have made time to participate, your presence here today is a testament to your belief in the power of unity and readiness to collectively hold our leaders to account. If we continue like this in all aspects of our national life, we will be playing a major role in re-shaping our country’, he added.

‘As broadcasters and in line with the motto of our association which speaks to improving our society through quality contents, we are availing you this platform to brainstorm with the CP on the state of internal security in our dear state and provide suggestions on how to further improve on it’, Ogundiran emphasised.
