Peoples Democratic Party disqualifies two aspirants ahead of primaries

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced disqualification of two of its Presidential aspirants ahead of the party primaries, but refused to disclose names of the affected aspirants and reasons behind the disqualification.

Penpushing reports that, the panel chairman, made this known David Mark on Friday at the screening of the 17 aspirants held at the Legacy House, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

Those screened include: former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; former Senate Presidents, Dr  Bukola Saraki(former Senate President)  Pius Anyim, Peter Obi;(former Governor of Anambra State) Bala Mohammed (Governor Bauchi State)  Governors, Bala Mohammed and Aminu Tambuwal (Governor of Sokoto State

Penpushing further reports that,others were  Nyesom Wike;(River State Governor) publisher, Dele Momodu(Publisher Ovation Magazine), Mohammed Hayatu-Deen(former Banker), Sam Ohabunwa(Pharmacist), Emmanuel Udom (Akwa Ibom State Governor)and, Olivia Tariela, the only female aspirant, Ayo Fayose(former Ekiti State Governor), Charles Okwudili(lawyer) and Cosmos Ndukwe.

.The panel boss who was a former Senate President explained to the journalists after the exercise that, part of the screening process is the verification of aspirants’ membership status and other vital credentials,
