Penpushing member, Olusola Oyewole rolls out drum for 70th birthday, retirement commencement of second term as Secretary-General, Association of African Universities
A prominent member of Penpushing platform, Prof Olusola Oyewole is set to roll out activities for his 70th birthday retirement from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and the commencement of his second term of service (2025–2029) as Secretary-General of the Association of African Universities, Accra, Ghana.
Penpushing reports that triplet celebrations will kick off with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Divine Heights Bible Church, Kotopo, Abeokuta–Ibadan Way, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria by 8:00 a.m, while Ministering Pastor is Dr. Sam Samson Bamigbayan, General Overseer, New Testament Assembly, Nigeria
The celebration will continue on Tuesday, September, 30, 2025 with special university senate session and other campus activities between 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
Penpushing further reports that the celebration reception is scheduled to hold from 2pm at DLK Event Centre, Abiola Way, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria with special ministration by Adeyinka Alaseyori
The celebrator said this celebration is more than a marking of years; adding that it is a testimony to God’s unfailing grace and faithfulness, and a moment to reflect on His mercies throughout his (Oyewole) journey in life, academia, and service to God and humanity.
Penpushing also reports that he called on well-wishers, guests and other dignitaries to join him to lift voices in thanksgiving and share moments of joy, fellowship, and reflection.
