Penpushing member Dideolu Falobi appointed Chairman, Board of Fellows of Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers
A member of Penpushing platform Engr Dideolu Falobi has been appointed as Chairman of Board of Fellows Committee of Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers, said to be in line with the Bye Laws of the Institution of 2022
Penpushing reports that his appointment was contained in a letter signed by the National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers Engr Seun Faluyi, sent to the appointee dated January 29, 2024
‘I am pleased to confirm your appointment as the Chairman of the Board of Fellows Committee of the NISafetyE. This is in line with the Bye Laws of the Institution of 2022. The terms of reference for the committee are attached as an appendix’, the letter reads.
Penpushing further reports that terms of reference include to receive and screen nominations from eligible individuals who meet the established criteria (and have provided the proper documentation) and to make a recommendation to the National Executive Committee for the selection of recipients for the Fellowship Award.
The other terms are to undertake a regular review of the contribution of the recipients to the institution, to coordinate the activities of the College of Fellows and report progress to the National Executive Committee, to ensure continual support, commitment and dedication of Fellowship recipients to the Institution and to handle other duties as may be assigned by the National Chairman/ Executive Committee
Penpushing also reports that other members of the committee include Engr John Onyemenam, Engr Chief Dagogo-Stowe, Engr Samuel Shokunbi, Engr Prisca Kanebi, and Engr Goodluck Ohwodo
The Chairman of Board of Fellows Committee of Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers, is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers(NSE), Institute of Directors(IOD), has been the Managing Director of Kresta Laurel Limited since 2005
Penpushing reports that Chairman in the letter emphasized that the chairman of the board should engage the members promptly so the committee may start work immediately, stressing that committee reports will need to be submitted at Council meetings every two months.
