Penpushing member, Abimbola Oyeyemi promoted Chief Superintendent of Police
A member of Penpushing platform and former Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi has been promoted from Superintendent of Police to the Chief Superintendent of Police.
Penpushing reports that the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun approved Oyeyemi’s promotion alongside other seventeen policemen and was decorated with the new ranks at the Police Headquarters, Eleweran Headquarters, Abeokuta.
The Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, while decorating Oyeyemi who is currently the Officer-in-Charge, General Investigation State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Eleweran, said the promotion was the reward of excellence within the Nigeria Police Force.
Penpushing further reports that the commissioner admonished Oyeyemi and others to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Inspector-General of Police through greater diligence, discipline, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
The commissioner reminded them that higher rank comes with increased responsibility and accountability while expressing confidence that they would continue to contribute meaningfully to the safety and security of lives and property across Ogun State.
Penpushing also reports that he emphasized that the promotion was in line with the Inspector General of Police (IGP’s) “commitment to professionalism, motivation, and the reward of excellence within the Nigeria Police Force.
