Penpushing media mourns Dokpesi

The management and Editorial Board of Penpushing Media have commiserated with the management of Daar Communications Plc, owner of African Independent Television (AIT) and its Radio Service over the demise of the founder, Raymond Dokpesi.

Penpushing reports that in a condolence message issued and signed by the Editorial Board Chairman, Funke Fadugba, titled, ‘Dokpesi takes a bow to join the saints triumphant’, described the exit of the media owner as sudden and unexpected

‘It was sudden, unexpected and shocking when the news filtered out that High Chief Aleogho Raymond Dokpesi has taken a bow from the stage of humanity to the great beyond. He stepped to yet another stage meant for Ecclesiastical ones’, Fadugba wrote.

Penpushing further reports that the management of the Penpushing Media pointed out that the deceased as a media guru, meant many things to his numerous staff, describing him as a kind hearted man who added values to the lives of others

‘Raymond Dokpesi, as a boss, meant many things to his numerous staff He was a kind hearted man who in his personal capacity strived to add values to the lives of others. Since his demise, the social media has been bombarded with messages, tributes and personal testimonies of all sorts of his remarkable doings as a progressive minded personality’, the statement reads

‘High Chief Dokpesi in  playing his roles as scripted by his author, God, did not fall short of demonstrating excellence, enviable and heroic feats on the stage of life. For his characterisation as a father (even beyond his biological children), entrepreneur, political leader, philanthropist, community leader and a rallying point in controversial times, Dokpesi demonstrated deeper knowledge of his cast’.

‘It is for these outstanding historic feats that, the management of Penpushing Media joins in paying tribute to a trail blazer. We want to urge the family and DAAR group to keep his memory alive by sustaining and even elevating all that he laboured for. May the Lord rest his soul and grant us all the fortitude to bear the loss’, the board emphasised
